  • Adaptations to individual properties and common areas to meet tenants’ needs
  • Property Management service in mixed tenure schemes

  • Development activities – new build, refurbishment and regeneration
  • Commercial factoring contracts which don’t involve properties otherwise managed by Link

Principles

  • Our properties must be well maintained, safe, energy efficient and affordable.
  • All our maintenance services must provide value for money.
  • All aspects of the maintenance service must give high levels of customer satisfaction.

Practice

  • Effective communication will be a core part of our relationship with our contractors and our service to our tenants.
  • We will take every opportunity to involve tenants in monitoring, reviewing and improving the services provided.
  • We will give tenants advice and assistance to enable them to make good and cost effective use of all equipment and systems in their homes, particularly for space and water heating and ventilation.

Resources

  • Sustainability - we aim to optimise the useable life, energy efficiency and affordability of our properties. We will promote energy efficiency in maintenance processes and use renewable and environmentally friendly products where practical to maintain a safe and secure environment in and around our properties.
  • Value for money - we will strive continually to obtain and provide inclusive services which offer optimum value for money.
