We also aim to take a co-ordinated approach to procurement to provide better services to our customers.
We work with suppliers to achieve community benefits and ensure that our procurement activity reflects our sustainable corporate objectives.
Link Group Procurement Policy
We deliver our Corporate Sustainable Procurement Policy in accordance with our Corporate Sustainable Procurement Strategy and our Standing Orders and Financial Regulations.
The policy's five key objectives are to ensure that:
- Good procurement practice is applied consistently across Link
- Current and future procurement activities are planned, monitored and reviewed effectively by means of a strategic procurement plan
- Tendering and contract awards for strategic procurement are in accordance with legislative requirements and best practice
- We have the correct financial planning and operation tools to deliver the procurement strategy
