We understand that you may have difficulty paying your rent at some point.
If this is the case, you should contact us right away. The earlier you tell us about a problem, the easier it will be to sort things out.
We can give you help and advice and make arrangements for you to pay any arrears in instalments.
We can also put you in touch with our Advice Team which can provide information and help about money matters, debt and benefit claims.
Rent arrears
If you don't contact us about missed payments or if you don't keep to an arrangement for paying off arrears, we will take legal action to recover the money you owe.
As a last resort, we will evict tenants who fail to pay their rent so it's vital that you tell us immediately if you are having difficulties!
