Private Sector Leasing - What is it?

Private Sector Leasing (PSL) is a scheme which was established by the City of Edinburgh Council (CEC) in 2005.

Properties in the Edinburgh area are leased from private landlords and these properties are then sublet to people who are homeless or in need of housing, under a Scottish Short Secure Tenancy (SSST).

Since September 2010, the City of Edinburgh Council has contracted the property and tenancy management functions of the PSL service to Link.
