What we do
We work with a diverse range of people of all ages who for varying reasons need support or care.
Our approach is always person-centred, meaning that each service user is offered the required amount of support to set and achieve personal goals in order to make positive differences in their lives.
How we do it
We do this by:
- Helping service users to develop practical tenancy management skills like budgeting, healthy eating, shopping, cooking and paying bills
- Focusing on the development of life skills
- Helping service users access education, training and employment
- Delivering responsive, individual services
- Encouraging and empowering people to be part of their local community and lead fulfilled lives
- Promoting choice for people whose opportunities are limited
- Providing a range of housing and support options
- Helping service users to identify their individual goals and aspirations
- Challenging exclusion
- Encouraging those who have experienced exclusion to speak up for what they want
- Promoting a learning culture that encourages creativity and personal development
- Providing effective, quality services while maximising resources and opportunities
What service users have said about their support
They genuinely care for me as a person.
This is the best organisation I have dealt with and they are always trying to see ways of improving what we do.
Support has changed the way I look at things, my life. I'm more confident in trying new things and willing to broaden my horizons.
I've got my life together now I've got support. We work together as a team.
