In order to keep your tenancy, it is important that you pay your rent and any charges on time. The money you pay us goes towards providing the services that are important to you, such as repairing or improving your home. There are a number of ways you can pay, and we will discuss which one is best for you.

If you have a low income or get benefits, you may be able to get housing benefit to help pay part or all of your rent. It's important to remember it's up to you to fill in a claim form. We can give you information to help you with this, or we can put you in touch with someone who can help.

If you're finding it difficult or can't pay the rent, let us know as soon as you can. We're here to offer help and advice when you need it. If you don't let us know what is happening, there's a risk you may lose your home. We can put you in touch with someone who can check that you're getting all the benefits you're supposed to, and can offer confidential help and advice if you're in debt or having money problems.
