Wow, what a journey !! As an experienced landlord I had heard about Link PSL back in 2015 and was keen to explore further, guaranteed rental scheme, paid quarterly in advance, and helping people that need it, wow I thought !!. PSL for Edinburgh property investors
If you are an investor purchasing a buy-to-let property or investment portfolio in Edinburgh, PSL can provide a guaranteed income for three or five years. There are specific criteria for PSL properties including: location, number of bedrooms, EPC rating, and type of property. The rent level paid varies depending upon area, size and condition of the property; we can provide an approximate rental valuation based on the sales schedule before you invest.
PSL property owners do not have to pay a monthly management fee, tenant damage costs or void periods, so ongoing costs and net rental yield are more predictable.
We currently require one, two and three-bedroom properties in all areas of Edinburgh. To be eligible for PSL, properties must pay council tax to the City of Edinburgh Council.
What is Private Sector Leasing?
Private Sector Leasing (PSL) was established in 2005 by the City of Edinburgh Council to provide much needed housing for individuals and families facing homelessness. Through the scheme, properties are leased from private landlords and property investors for three or five years and sublet to those in need of housing under a Scottish Short Secure Tenancy (SSST).
