Link is a group of eight social enterprise companies which provide a wide range of services across Scotland. We have more than 15,000 customers and have ambitious plans to make more of our services available to people who need them most.
We are looking to add to the range of skills and experience on the following boards:
- Link Housing Ltd. [providing housing management services on behalf of Link Group Ltd.]
- Link Property Ltd. [providing in-house maintenance services to our customers]
What’s in it for you?
You’ll be presented with interesting, and at times complex, issues to consider and help navigate a path through, while staying true to Link’s values. You’ll also be able to influence Link’s strategic direction and drive our ambition to grow and improve our services.
You’ll work with like-minded, experienced and committed colleagues to achieve our plans whilst keeping people at the heart of everything we do. As a board member of one of Scotland’s most successful social enterprises, you will gain valuable decision-making experience. Our board members volunteer their time to prepare for and attend regular meetings, training and information events. Reasonable expenses are reimbursed.
What are we looking for?
We want to work with people who share our determination to help others and develop our business. We are keen you have experience of receiving or delivering services similar to those we offer, or you have experience which can bring new thinking to our approach.
We want our boards to reflect our diverse population and welcome interest from all sectors of the community.
Specific areas of knowledge, skills and experience we are looking for include, but aren’t limited to:
|Link Housing||Link Property|
|Business improvement||Property development|
|Business transformation||Estates/factoring management|
