Link recommits to community investment
As part of its process of continuously appraising and improving its approach to regeneration and service delivery, Link has produced its Community Investment Statement.
The statement provides the context for Community Investment decisions and activities across the Link group of companies and explains how Link, working with communities, adds value to the regeneration process.
Craig Sanderson Chief Executive at Link Group added, “We hope that a wide range of stakeholders, from our tenants, service users, suppliers and external investors will benefit from this clear statement of our community investment priorities and gain a shared understanding of the positive difference that we want to make.”
The statement contains a number of key messages including; Link’s continued support for the development of more community anchor organisations and Scotland’s growing social enterprise sector.
Along with five priority themes, the statement commits Link to the cross-cutting theme of ‘measuring the difference we make’. Link is currently building the foundations for outcomes based monitoring and reporting by trialling a number of tools.
