Changes to the way we advertise our properties across Scotland

From Monday 6 July 2015, we will longer advertise properties for rent in the Daily Record newspaper and will only advertise available properties (except for in Edinburgh and Inverclyde) using the Homehunt website.

We are also changing the frequency of our adverts from fortnightly to weekly.

This change is in response to a recent survey which highlighted that the vast majority of applicants apply for properties online.

Apply on the Homehunt website

Available properties will appear online at 5.00pm every Monday on the Homehunt website and will close to bids at 10.00am the following Monday. You need to have your registration number and password to your online account to hand to allow you to apply for a property.

Other ways to apply

If you are unable to view properties on the Homehunt website you can call our Lettings Team on 03451 400 100 (choose option 3) to find out what is available and apply for any properties over the phone. It would be helpful it you have your registration number to hand when you call to make it easier for the team to find your details.

We can also, under certain circumstances, post a copy of the advert to you, please contact us if you wish to discuss this. Alternatively, you can go into your local council offices to view available properties as a copy will be issued to councils each week.

Properties in Edinburgh and Inverclyde

We will still continue to advertise properties for rent in Edinburgh through the EdIndex Common Housing Register in the Edinburgh Evening News and on the 'EH -Your Key to Choice' website and in Inverclyde through the Inverclyde Common Housing Register (ICHR) in the Greenock Telegraph and on the ICHR website
