New Horizon Board members

Horizon is looking to appoint new Board Members to help it improve the services it offers

Horizon promotes and provides affordable housing and services that enable people to live full independent lives in the community of their choice.   It offers integrated housing developments, including 25% of homes to meet the specific needs of wheelchair users, within communities designed for all.

As an independent RSL within Link Group, Horizon manages 865 properties and offer Care & Repair services to around 3500 older and disabled homeowners annually.

What are we looking for?

Horizon wants to build on its well established Board and is seeking to appoint Board members with knowledge, skills and experience in marketing and communications, law, social enterprise and inclusive design.

If you share our commitment to developing and improving services and to working with others to increase the accessibility of housing for disabled people, we would like to hear from you.

Our Board members volunteer their time to prepare for and attend regular meetings, training and information events and to meet with our tenants and service users.  Reasonable expenses are reimbursed.

We welcome interest from all sectors of our communities, in particular from women and people from black and minority ethnic groups who are underrepresented on our current Board.
