Scotland’s fire regulations have changed
Every home in Scotland must have interlinked fire alarms by February 2022.
Being interlinked means if one alarm goes off, they all go off. You may not hear the alarm closest to the fire, especially if you’re somewhere else in the house. An interlinked system will alert you immediately.
What Link needs to do
We are responsible to make sure your home meets the new fire alarm standard. This means we will need access to your home to complete this work.
We are running a planned programme to achieve this standard across homes in the coming weeks and will be in touch to let you know when we need access.
