Link is offering space in its social enterprise hub at The Bruach, Dalmuir
The Bruach is home to our west of Scotland housing team but it also has office and warehouse space available to social enterprises and other voluntary organisations who want to make a positive social impact. The space is available on terms which are below market rates.
The Bruach has a staffed reception area, where the facilities manager is responsible for managing visitors to the building, booking of the IT suite and meeting rooms and day-to-day Health and Safety matters.
An IT training suite, established using funding from the Scottish Government's People and Communities Fund, is available for tenants to get advice or support from Link staff. Tenants can use the computers to apply for benefits online, carry out job searches and prepare CVs and job applications. Local organisations, community groups and public sector partners also have the opportunity to hire out the suite by the hour, half day or full day.
All tenants within the building will benefit from having access to a fully managed and supported internet network. In addition, tenants will have access to a phone system with voicemail facilities utilising the latest technology.
The building is compliant with the Disability Discrimination Act offering parking bays for disabled parking, automatic doors, a lift and two wet rooms with wheelchair-accessible toilets.
There are currently car park spaces available to the rear and to the side of the building, with plans in place to extend the car park further depending on the needs of tenants of the building. Unrestricted on-street parking is also available.
