We need properties to join the scheme
We are looking for landlords who own one and two-bedroom properties across Edinburgh.
Our scheme is quite different to a traditional letting agent. Working in partnership with the Edinburgh City Council, we share some of the responsibilities and risks of letting a property with our Landlords.
What we are looking for
As part of the City of Edinburgh Council’s Private Sector Leasing Scheme we manage 1700 properties across Edinburgh. This comprises properties of differing sizes depending on the requirements of the scheme.
At present we are looking for one and two-bedroom properties that are of good quality, appropriately heated and have double glazing where possible.
The properties should be basically furnished to include (but is not limited to) white goods, bedroom, living room and kitchen furniture. We will discuss these requirements with landlords on our initial visit to the property.
During the lease we will look after your property and offer a range of services including:
- Arranging Gas safety and Electrical safety checks on your behalf
- Competitive maintenance services
- 24-hour emergency service for repairs
- Organising day-to-day repairs
- Tenancy visits to your property
We will hand back your property at the end of lease with any repairs completed (except for wear and tear) and damaged items repaired, replaced or compensated for, where applicable.
