Link’s commitment as an inclusive employer recognised by achieving national award

Link has been awarded the highest Disability Confident Leader accreditation, demonstrating our commitment in our Belonging with Us strategy to support a truly fair and inclusive experience at Link.

Disability Confident  is a UK-Government scheme designed to encourage employers to recruit, retain and develop disabled people and those with health conditions so they can thrive in the workplace. Employers benefit from the scheme by appealing to a wider group of applicants and talent, retaining high-quality staff and removing b arriers to disabled people and those with long-term health conditions, enabling them greater access to opportunities to fulfil their potential and career aspirations.

Link Group HR Shared Services Team Leader Sharon Taylor, who led the accreditation process on behalf of Link, said: “I am delighted our work to be a supportive fair and inclusive employer has been recognised through Link achieving Disability Confident Leader status. In gaining Leader status, Link has attained the top tier level of the scheme, joining the organisations across the UK most dedicated to providing opportunities for people with disabilities to work at their best.”

Minister for Disabled People, Health and Work, Tom Pursglove MP, said: “ Congratulations to Link for securing Disability Confident Leader accreditation. They are a shining example of an inclusive organisation providing life-changing work opportunities for disabled people.

Link holds Disability Confident Leader status until 2026 when the organisation will be reaccredited.
