Stair Cleaning

Why is stair cleaning important for my building?

Keeping stairwells clean isn’t just about appearances, it helps maintain a safe and healthy environment for all residents. Clean stairs reduce the risk of slips and trips, prevents the buildup of dirt, and create a more welcoming space for everyone. Regular cleaning by your cleaning contractor ensures that communal areas are pleasant and hygienic.

Can I request additional cleaning during certain times of the year

If you feel that additional cleaning may be required during specific periods, such as after winter weather or during busy times, let us know. While the regular schedule is usually sufficient, we’re happy to discuss potential arrangements with your cleaning contractor to meet your building’s needs.

What happens if the cleaning contractor misses a visit?

If you notice that a scheduled cleaning has been missed, please get in touch with us by completing our Stair Cleaning Report form. We’ll work with the cleaning contractor to investigate and resolve the issue quickly. Your satisfaction and the quality of service are our priorities.

How can I ensure my stairs stay cleaner between visits?

You can help keep your communal spaces looking their best by:

· Hoover your doormat regularly.

· Promptly disposing of any litter or debris you might notice in the common areas.

· Reporting spills or messes immediately so they can be addressed quickly.

These small actions contribute to a cleaner, safer space for everyone.

How are cleaning contractors selected?

We work with reputable, professional cleaning contractors who have experience in maintaining communal areas to a high standard. Contractors are selected by a formal tender process based on their reliability, quality of service, and compliance with health and safety regulations. We review their performance regularly to ensure your building receives the best care.

Will cleaning contractors remove large items or rubbish left in the stairwell?

The cleaning contractor focuses on routine tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and general tidying. If large items or bulk waste are left in the stairwell, these must be removed by the residents responsible or through a special uplift service. If you need assistance arranging this, please contact us.

Can I leave my personal belongings in the stairwell?

For everyone’s safety and to help the cleaning contractor carry out their duties effectively, we kindly ask that no personal items, such as shoes, bikes, or prams, are left in the communal areas. This ensures the stairwell remains accessible and safe for all residents.

What happens if there’s damage caused by the cleaning contractor?

If you believe that the cleaning contractor has caused damage to the communal areas, please report this to us immediately. We’ll investigate the matter and work with the contractor to address and resolve the situation promptly.
